Crafting Quality Furniture with Thoughtful Design, Skilled Craftsmanship, and the Finest Materials.
Handcrafted furniture made with quality and care
Our Services
Let’s talk about what we do best: tables, dining furniture, living room furniture, and conference room tables. Whether it’s gathering for family meals, unwinding in your living room, or hosting important meetings, these are the pieces that bring people together. They’re where you eat, relax, work, and connect.
Tables are the true stars of our business. That dining table will witness everything from family dinners to the occasional spaghetti mishap, while your conference table will be the backdrop for big ideas and decisions. Our goal is to ensure these pieces aren’t just functional, but beautiful and durable enough to handle life’s everyday moments—at home and in the office.
Custom Design Process
So, what makes our furniture different? Well, besides not needing
to decipher a 37-page instruction manual to put it together, everything
is custom. I mean, really custom. At Sawdust & Splinters, we don’t
just make tables and furniture; we make your table, your furniture.
Here’s how it works: We start with a conversation, because like
any great relationship, communication is key. We’ll talk about what you
need, what style you’re into (modern, rustic, farmhouse, eclectic—we
don’t judge), and how it’s going to fit into your space. Then we sketch,
we plan, and we create something that’s as unique as your Netflix
recommendations.
From wood selection to finishes, every part of the design process
is tailored to you. And trust me, nothing is better than the look on our
client’s face when their dream piece becomes a reality.
Our Materials
We hand-pick every piece of wood, none of that particleboard nonsense. It’s all about durability, character, and beauty.
We use hardwoods like walnut, elm, alder, hickory, oak, and maple to name a few.
When it comes to techniques. We are using tried-and-true joinery
techniques. Mortise and tenon, dovetail joints and now dominos—you know,
the fancy stuff that keeps your table from wobbling when you cut into
that slightly overdone steak.
We source our materials from local suppliers who share our
commitment to quality and sustainability. We use a wide variety of
hardwoods and softwoods, as well as reclaimed and salvaged materials, to
create one-of-a-kind pieces that are both beautiful and eco-friendly.
